I feel this counts as plagiarism!

I have no problems with using content from other sites
And then adding additional unique enhancement.

But as this actually removed the video content,
Then it should have been an audio tease not flash.

Nah, its fine. Replacing the video with pics and making it a flash tease was a nice touch.
Having a pure audio tease would be closer to plagiarism.

not much unique content here i'll admit,

i just like the tara vids and wanted to use the audio to make a tease.

the main difference is the ending, i made it a flash tease so i could use multiple endings. One ending is the regular one taken from the video, one is a version that I have edited carefully so that she says something different. I wanted to make an easy-access version of the vid because Ive had probelms downloading some jerkfix vids... at least the flashteases are instant. And with a video you know how it will end, with this tease it has a random ending.

I did put more work into it than just copying and pasting the audio, I edited it quite a lot to remove some instructions like "follow my hand like this"... things that relied on being able to see the video.

but yeah, i agree its not an original work. i just made it for people to enjoy, if the mods have a problem with it i dont mind removing it.

Where jerkfix is concerned do not use a download manager,
And try using Firefox's own.
then you should find your problems diminish.

Im not sure where the line of plagarism is drawn here, as Im not making money from my teases so Im not too concerned about it... its just for fun. I guess its for the site admins to decide.

Unfortunately, it is the other way around. As justified and fair as it may be, the pursuit of legal process for copyright infringement on the net is quickly producing a huge number of very bad side effects, tossing aside commonly accepted legal rights as well as the latest addition to the list: Private, unencrypted WLANs deemed illegal in Germany. Which in short means they let the need for prosecuting copyright infringement take precedence over anything else, in this case the man in the street's right to show solidarity with fellow humans in the form of sharing your net with the public. Something like this could fortunately never happen in my own country, but don't get me started on this, I'll just derail this thread badly lol. Or in fact I already did.


To the topic at hand, I don't see the problem with plagiarism. We all see lots of different content elsewhere and let it inspire us. Besides, every single tease is just that: A tease. Depending on how broad perspective you keep, they are all one and the same thing. It's better that we encourage our many great authors to produce content to their hearts' desire, rather than risk scaring anyone from writing teases just because someone might have made something "too similar" before.

we have a situation in the UK where even though we have a drastic shortage of foster parents.
A white couple are frequently not approved to adopt a mixed race or coloured child.

I was speaking to a woman who had mixed race children and some one said she should not be looking after them even though she is their mother.

Prejudice is so often without reason/logic.
