My setup for using Estim

Post by puste »

I know there is a lot of subject on how to build a cheap estim device. But when it comes to get this in use, there not so many subject on this in milovana. I will now try to list what setup I am using.
I have been using stim for many years now and I have come up with best setup that suits me.
You may think that this setup is a little bit overkill, but for me I just love it.

This is the list with all the hardware. And I will then explain what all this is for.
Quick Extender Pro

Conductive rubber tube - Tens Estim 6.5mm

TRIPHASE ADAPTOR

Banana to Pin Adapter

Cock Rings

Fosi Audio BT01 Bluetooth 5.0 Stereo Amplifier 2 Channel Class D Mini HiFi

RS PRO, 40W Plug In Power Supply 12V dc, 3A

Electrical Cable Heat Shrink Tube Tubing
On Ebay >=13mm.

LOW-COST (~$40-60) DIY STEREO E-STIM FOR AUDIO INPUT (BASED ON TRONIC'S MIDISTIM)
This design is a variation of TroniC's MidiStim from the SmartStim forums.
viewtopic.php?f=12&t=23322

The Fosi Audio BT01 is just the Amplifier for this setup. There is a power supply with this.
But rememeber that the power supply must be safe to use. There for the extra power supply is for the amplifier.
This extra power supply is Double Isolated. And this is just to be on the safe side.
I have try to get answer from Fosi about safety for the delevired power supply but they never answer back on safety.
The reason why I use the Fosi is because it deliver a more cleaner signal.

The Quick Extender Pro is what I have found is best to hold the conductive rubber tube in place.
And the Cock rings is just to ensure that the Conductive rubber do not short circuit between the conductive rubber tube.
The Quick Extender Pro just hold the top in place. The other conductive rubber tube is just placed around the cock.
And you can adjust the The Quick Extender Pro to suits your length.

The Triphase is what I use most. But it is also posible to use one more conductive rubber tube and use it as steroe setup.
Then you have to use 2 mono cables.

All this I am using with the simple setup with TroniC's MidiStim. But remember that the box I have made is
not a plastic box. It is in metal. This is just to ensure that if the 2 3.9 Ohm resister get hot.
Normal this is not a problem, but I do not like to melt a plasic box with this.
But the front to the output is plastic just to ensure that the 2 jack do not short circuit between the 2 output.
This is not a problem if you only use it for triphase but it is better that the cable is doing the triphase.

All this I normaly use with self made bondage setup. But that's a whole other story. :-P

Thank you so much for doing this. Would like to see a wiring diagram to see how to assemble, and a diagram on how to wear . Excellent!

This is a photo of the setup for the Quick Extender Pro.
Just connect the triphase cable to the 3 Ruber loops. 1 on top and 2 around the shaft. Or what you like best.
I have try to set the lover rubber loop under the Quick Extender Pro, but i do not think there is so much different.

This is a photo where the triphase cable is connected to the 3 rubber tubes.
And the center you can't se becouse of the ShrinkFlex is cover this. The other on the shaft I also use ShrinkFlex for.
On this photo I have placed the connection under the Quick Extender Pro.
Sometimes this give a better feeling of strokes.

wow - first DYI setup that actually seems doable for a newbie like me! Thanks!

One question before I start...
The Fosi Audio only has one volume know, right? So you can't change the intensity of each channel individually?

bobross235 Yes that is correct. But I do not think this is a problem. Depend of what Audio Sound Card you are using.
You can on some Audio card select Left and Right channels volume. That way you can adjust the audio volume.
But normal I do not change this. This depend more on how the Estim files is made. And what estim trodes you are using.
If using same rupper tube loops then it is normal that is has same "resistent". And then it is normal not a problem.
But if you use different trodes then it can be that you whant to adjust them differently.
