As to the Joker,.... this is not a casino so I'dd guess you're allowed to count the cards.

Spoiler below in a white lettertype. Select the text if you want the answer on how to count. (no password or location of the joker card is given in the spoiler)

The cards are turned over in a particulair sequence.
Like: 5, 12, 9, 3, 2, ..., 11, 7, 5, 12, 9,...

It might be that card number 9 is a corner card. Look below it.
If it's not card number 9, look below the card that is next to be turned around, nr 3.
Not card 3, look below the card second card after card number 9, nr 2.

That way, you can scematically try all the cards in the game, and not have to do the same instruction twice.

I've been trying to find it for well over an hour now, and i just came to the realization that i've been picking cards out of the same rotation of 25 cards. I went through each of the 25 and the joker's not there, so i have no idea how to get to the other 29 cards in the deck... If someone could help me out here or pm me the third code i'd really appreciate it.

It was a good webtease up until the random bit with all the cards. Randomisation is good for repeatability, but that got to be too much. After clicking around for about an hour, I had stopped following instructions long ago and just got bored with it, hoping to get past that bit to get to see more, but even trying to be systematic and go through them all got boring after a while, just watching cards flash about waiting to click stop at that one second interval.

Sorry, but that bit completely ruined it all. Tried guessing the password on part 3 a few times, gave up and moved on. Too bad, because it had great potential.

Agree. It's a great tease and very well-written, but after an hour of "doing" the card draw, I gave up because for my tastes, it got too tedious and (for want of a better term) boring. Sure, teasing has its periods of 'perceived futility' and I agree that a certain amount of 'unknowns' can be a tease, or part of a tease -- but as I said, for me, after a while enough was enough, because you were "trapped" in the card game.

To overcome that "trapped" situation, may I suggest a random question "do you want to quit/cum/keep trying?" that popped up now and then during the card game would be helpful....even if two of those options simply said "sorry, try again tomorrow" and quit the tease....at least you'd have some idea where you stood and you could decide if you want to stay and keep working the tease scenario or not, since you had defininitive decision points.

That said...PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't take this as discouragement - you have great models, great grammar, well-written dialogue, and a deliciously-deviant mind in terms of tease development. I have NO DOUBT that this tease will garner many favorable comments and be just what some folks here are looking for in terms of "script flow" -- from my perspective, it is a damn fine tease but as I said, wasn't one I could see myself taking the time to try and complete again. I'm sure others here will and have, either randomly or counting cards, though. :)

That said, bravo, bravo, and a VERY GOOD JOB!!!!

Found an error in part 2 during the random card section... it was the queen of spades... it tells you to think of a guy you know and get a dildo then click continue... then it comes up and says JACKing off you know... and doesnt give you further instruction on what to do with the dildo.

Thanks for pointing out the bug, it's been fixed.
I accidentally made 2 pages with the same name and it was going to the wrong one. I don't know how it decides which to go to when 2 have the same name, but anyway... thanks again and FIXED!

I guess I should apologize to the poor guys who got stuck not being able to find the Joker. My worry was that chances are some people would find the Joker too soon, perhaps the first or second draw, so I needed to make it elusive and really lower the odds of drawing it. So I made two identical rotations, one with the Joker and one with the Six in the same spot. After drawing any of the face cards or Aces or the Six, it takes you to the rotation with the Six and not the Joker. Basically it's impossible to find the Joker at all until immediately after drawing a 2 thru 5 or 7 thru 10.

And I didn't use all 54 cards in a deck obviously. I'm just not that creative. There are only 25 cards/tasks total. So there's only about a 1/3 chance of even getting a 1/25 chance of randomly drawing the Joker.

I see that has led to many mixed feelings about it.
Maybe I should make it a little easier, like say make it a 50/50 chance of getting the right rotation.
In fact I'll go ahead and do that.

I totally forgot, I need to acknowledge user "cumhardy" for his tease "The Card Game" which was most certainly a big inspiration when I wrote "House of Cards." He gave me the idea of the randomizer when it came to picking cards with different outcomes.
So a big thanks to cumhardy!

I sort of cheated to find the joker.

I opened up about 7 or so windows with the tease in it.

That allowed me to do a lot of clicking and searching without spending time waiting for another chance to select a card.

Doing it that way I found the card in about 5 or 10 minutes.

I had tried the way the tease was intended but after awhile the interest did fade. Great teases though.

When I get the queen of hearts on part 2, nothing ever happens.

I left it up for 10 minutes and it never gave me a continue

Sorry to hear that, wiggyone. It must have been a Nyx or computer error. I just double checked it on my end and it's just fine.

While the content wasn't really to my tastes, I have to stand up and applaud this, for the technical and logistical sides if nothing else. The password implementation in particular, I found ingenious, and I'm really scratching my head as to how you managed to do the card picking so well.

Thank you grunken! I spent long hours setting this thing up.
Let's just say I love Nyx and can't wait to see what the future holds.

I need to know this... Is there really a chance to "win" in part three, am I just punishing myself? :) I'm not asking for any hints or how to make it happen, I just want to know if its possible.
