Filter Tease By Language

Though it is a fine language, German is not a language that I can speak or read. Can we get a language filter for teases, so I can sift through just the ones that are readable?

I think that's something that german community should adopt themselves as a common gesture of a good will and to make more people happy with their work. A small effort that a lot of people will be thankful for.

On a sidenote: personally I don't mind them as long as there's not so much of them.

Should we not insist that all teases are written in Chinese as it is the most spoken language in the world,
Or Latin as scientists do to save misinterpretation entering the translation.

Seriously just write the teases title in the same language as the tease it's self.
But a language tag would be a nice touch.

There aren't that many German teases anyway.
There is one author that recently published a lot of stuff, but he probably won't keep that up for ever
Tags are always nice of course, but the tag system doesn't allow you to exclude tags from the search anyway.
So it would only be useful for people searching for German teases.

Agreed, this is a global sight and as such that is reflected in the teases that authors choose to write. A language tag might be helpful, but I don't see why people are complaining about there being teases in different languages. If I was German I would be well chuffed to read a tease in German. Now If I started putting teases out in ancient mayan, or old high Welsh, I could see why people might complain *chuckles*

Huh? Folks, I'm not complaining about there being teases in German. I think it's totally awesome that there are German teases. I just think it would be nice if I could filter them out of my tease view, since I simply can't do anything with them!

I don't think that it's a good idea to use a tag and hide them by default, because that's an unfair hassle for people who do speak German. However, if there were a way to exclude tags, that could work, too.

Heck, if the tag exclusion thing were implemented, I would volunteer myself to write a script to run through the existing teases, pass the titles to Google Translate to detect the language, and tag them accordingly! It wouldn't be a big deal at all.
