Slideshow with random delay
New download links :

Hi. I've been missing slideshows with random delay, so I finally developed one. Mainly for linux, but its actually crossover so works in windows to.
It sets up 4 categories:
Censored images
Normal images
Censored video
Nomal video
The user must define min and max delay for each category, and the actual delay is then random between those values.
You may select only the categories you want, and define folders for each category. (And include subdirs if you want)
Of course, if your not into censored media, you can use it as another category.
The point is to never know when real porn comes, and how long it shows.
You can also set the chance of censoring, and chance of video.
I even made a chance of "badmode" where you must press both shift buttons to avoid black screen.
(Both shifts, since they're hard to press with one hand)
It's not perfect, but it's working. Has some bugs.
Written in Free Pascal, using Lazarus IDE. Great tool for crosscompiling between OSes.
MPlayer must be installed.
I will provide a download link once I've uploaded it somewhere.
I plan to provide the code too, but I will clean it up a bit first.

Re: Slideshow with random delay
Excellent idea! I've long wanted to see a more intelligent slide-show sort of thing for local computing use.
Seeing what you're doing, since I don't do much video, I'd probably use the 'video' category as a category called 'command' or 'cue' or 'cum' . That way, when pics from that folder are on screen you can cum. If not, you stop and either are denied or ruined until the next time. The 'not knowing' aspect is a mindfuck so you tend to focus & try and get off as quickly as you can in a panic or you get denied/ruined for a while longer. Sadly on a random slideshow program like I've used, all I can do is keep the same display interval, which kind of defeats the mindfuck purpose. :/

Re: Slideshow with random delay
Yep.
But video category must show videos. But you can use one image category for this.
Or : just having a subfolder with special pics is also fine.

Re: Slideshow with random delay
This sounds really promising!
I've looked for good ways to play a random portion of a random video for a random duration before, and came up pretty empty. It sounds like this might finally fit the bill. Thank you!
Could you share a Windows version?

Not tested, but I guess this one does not save/load settings
Also Mplayer must be installed.
I think mplayer.exe should be in the path. (So you can start it in command prompt from any folder)

Re: Slideshow with random delay
I have this Windows Version testet but gifs don't work and videos are not show only the audio is there. And i have the mplayer downloaded and have the mplayer.exe in the same file with the slider.exe because in diffrent location it doesn't work bye me. And you should write a percent show bar. so it is not directly clear that the 0 percent is on the left and the 100 percent on the right in the slidebar.jellysub wrote: ↑Wed Sep 19, 2018 2:08 pm Link to win-version

Is the videos working if you open them directly in mplayer.exe? (The app scans only for .mp4 files for now)
Maybe some codec is missing? Have you installed vlc? That may fix something.
Clips for pics is basically playing a video, and presents som pics now and then without pausing the video. (I don't remember if it works on your version)
I have a newer version. Will upload soon.
Have done som tweeks there.
- Domme decide = you don't know much whats comming
- Possible to let domme change settings during play.
- Also playing with some random playtime, so it will stop at some time.

Re: Slideshow with random delay
I think you should google arount a bit, and make mplayer play your files. Then I'm sure it will work.
Thats my best help for now.

Re: Slideshow with random delay
Just stumbled onto this and it is great! Thank you for sharing. Been looking for something like this for awhile, most just let you select 1 image directory for the slide show.
I have a simple JAVA based one from awhile back, that accepted Animated GIF's if you think you could use any part of it, you're welcome to it. My next step was to put a user defined range on the random metronome (i.e. 20 - 40BPM and 120 - 140BPM, thus either avoiding the "comfort" range or constantly being in it. Just hadn't got around to it.

Anyway, I've side tracked. Thanks again for this, loving it!

Re: Slideshow with random delay
I'm running Ubuntu 18 and get MPlayer to play videos with sound, but the metronome isn't there. I played the WAV file form terminal and it works fine and if open the WAV file direct form MPlayer it plays fine. Any ideas?jellysub wrote: ↑Tue Feb 26, 2019 10:29 pm New version
