Yeah, I had broken this up into different compositions, based on song, and stitched them together at the end. I have no idea why I decided to put two songs into the last composition, but I must have thought I was being clever. I definitely was clever enough to have the different songs use different audio and video tracks, so good on me, I guess? But on my last edit, any cleverness I could claim was lost as I had tracks armed that should not have been armed and bam, badness from there on.pixelwhore wrote: ↑Thu Sep 24, 2020 6:31 am Subcomps are good for your health.
Bad break. It happens.
Oh, and in my hubris, after I thought I was done, I went and deleted all the sub compositions, because, hey, I'm done and I need the space for my next project, right? So now instead of just modifying the offending composition, rendering it and stitching the full one, I need to render the Whole Entire Project again. Because apparently I'm a newly-discovered type of fool.
It's a good thing that this is just a hobby for me, and I'm a newbie. Had I made a claim of having any competence I'd be right embarrassed. OK, I'm still embarrassed, but at least I have the excuse of inexperience!
At the very least, hopefully another newbie runs across this thread and decides "don't do what this guy did". I'd be happy if that was the case.
