The only thing that makes you gay is being gay. Most people who identify as gay discovered early on that it was part of who they are.

Having said that, with regard to sexual matters, other people's opinion should have absolutely no bearing on what feels good to you. I'm afraid cumhardy's right. For the life of me I can't track down the source right now, but there was a definitive study--with science--that proved doing things that gay guys do makes you gay.
