Not a terrible idea, but it's more work for whoever is keeping it up to date just to solve a problem that shouldn't really exist.andyp wrote: ↑Wed Oct 13, 2021 9:08 am Edit: for new releases what do you think to using a single thread viewtopic.php?f=25&t=24555
This forum has worked perfectly well for many years without it. Old threads resurfacing from time to time was never a problem and should be encouraged, provided it doesn't swamp every other discussion in the process. If someone has something to say on an old thread, they should go ahead and say it. If someone has 50 things to say about 50 old videos, that's it's own topic of conversation and should be it's own thread.
Guilherme might be right that his reviews are appreciated by the video creators, but 20+ posts per week (i.e. 3 per day) in a forum that gets 2 or 3 new topics in the same amount of time is still overwhelming. If one person was posting that many videos it would likely get complaints, and these reviews are of a lot less interest to most people than that would be. He might as well be going into old threads and posting "I watched this" or "bump" as far as many people are concerned.
Why should the community be forced to adapt just to accommodate the wishes of one person? Particularly when a simple solution already exists - If Guilherme wants to continue reviewing at this rate, he should create a thread consolidating all his reviews in one place. It solves the problem instantly, gives people an easy place to reply to his reviews if they want to and allows the rest of the forum to continue as it always has.
Just my 2 cents
