[Feedback]Learn to Edge: Stairways

Post by itslate »

Hey everybody!

I released a tease aimed at teaching how to edge and hold the edge. Way back in the day, when I didn't really know how to edge, Ms Julies Tantra Training really opened my eyes.

Still I thought it could be improved by giving the user the ability to increase and decrease the speed. So I made a new and hopefully improved tease out of it!

Please give it a shot and let me know what you think!

I only peeked at the first few minutes and haven't had time to play through yet, but the concept and execution so far look wonderful. I stopped playing, because it was starting to look like this tease might be excellent for couples. I wanted to save it for a couples experience, if so.

So that's my question for you or anyone else who has played through this tease: How do you think it would be as a couples' tease?

In my personal, anecdotal, limited experience, for something to work best as a couples tease, there are some unique issues. It needs to work well on mobile. It needs to clearly communicate instructions and focus on delivering pleasure, rather than telling a story. The pictures need to be suggestively sexy and not offputtingly hardcore. The language should be loving and reverent, not porn-like. It needs to be very clear who is supposed to be reading the tease and pushing the buttons, if necessary. That is strictly my own anecdotal experience.

From what I saw so far... It looks like this tease might fit. I'm thinking: The male/sub partner would watch and read the screen and push the buttons; the female/domme partner would wear bluetooth earbuds, peek at the screen (or take control of it at times), and do the teasing. The gentle counting is what made me think this tease could uniquely work well like that. The male/sub partner could listen to a relaxation music/ambiance track in headphones or earbuds, broadcast from another smartphone -- he does not need to hear the count, from what I saw so far.

itslate and others, would that work here?

Thank you for making this!

I haven't looked at this beyond the first five minutes or so, but I enjoy the model choices so far, and the style seems very clever.

I do have a question, though. At the very beginning, the reader is given instructions, but I'm not sure I understand what the intended meaning is. Is the intended pattern: "one" then one stroke, "two" and then second stroke? Or do you intend: "one" then one stroke, "two" and then two strokes, "three" and then three strokes, etc.?

Sure, couples could play with this! Simply have one partner "execute" and the other partner says when to go slower or faster. You should decide who has to bush the corresponding button.
The winner is who goes further without coming :-)

The intention is to stroke faster over time, so one stroke, then two, etc.

This is an excellent rework to one of my favorite teases. Even at the original speed, that tease can be hard. This is just entertainingly fun. I especially like the accompanying beat at slower speeds to keep you on track.

I did note that there seems to be bug that lets you keep playing after hitting stop at the end, or is that just an effective pause button? I would suggest that when you get ready for the "challenge" before skipping strokes that you start automatically ramping the speed level up during that time. That will drive it back up to the edging level just in case we were too close during the initial phase of game. Otherwise, a great tease all around!!

It does? That's strange. When you get the points total, the tease should end.

Yeah, that would be a good idea, but the tracks have different length and I can't change the track without aborting the current counting and starting over with "one".
I hope players will use the speed up function to get back to the edging level. I added some lines to suggest that to them.

Thanks for the feedback :-)

I've played this, and it seems very good, but i'm not sure if i'm doing it right.
what exactly do you have in mind for the last part where an option is "burst an edge". I took that to me stop stroking, but I may be missing something.

I very much like that it gives a score at the end.

When you click that button, a new sound should play, encouraging you to stroke fast so that you can edge.
