Just wow. Permanent encasing is not something I am personally into, but it was fascinating and and hot to read about the MC go through this experience. Lots of great ideas and imagination went into this story - I can't wait for technology to improve so that we can make a doll like that Thanks for sharing!

To be completely honest, we will probably sooner invent a proper neural interface that would allow a computer feed the sensations directly into the brain. Not only would that be much easier from a technical standpoint, but it would be cheaper and more failsafe.

But that's just the boring reality. In an exciting fantasy story, I wanted the material itself actually simulate physical sensations for her.
