Sounds - Love them - Want them

I'm also finishing a new flashtease, and I know about the nyx bug, that removes sounds... Here's how I do it:

-If I want a metronome sound at the specific page, I write 2SPS, 3SPS, NOX3SPS etc... short codes which include "SPS" (strokes per second) in the page description in a new line, so this will append in the code:

-I do this for all pages, until I am done writing the tease.

-Then I copy all the script and paste it in the notepad++.

-Search for "SPS"... then I see which pages were meant to have a sound and I delete the found code "2SPS", and add this to the end of the page commands:

hidden:sound(id:'no-200.mp3')

-I do this for all "SPS" codes and at the end I do search and replace for:

<TEXTFORMAT LEADING="2"><P ALIGN="CENTER"><FONT FACE="FontSans" SIZE="18" COLOR="#FFFFFF" LETTERSPACING="0" KERNING="0"></FONT></P></TEXTFORMAT>

Which will replace all those unneccessary tags with an empty string.

I know this might sound complicated, but it is really easy, once you get used to it - I wrote almost about 2000 pages this way on my newest flashtease. The thing is I made a framework and another file where I add and save the finished pages.

No link problems on my end - all good.

Highlights for me (Note - SPOILERS, though I would hope you would expect them, in a fb threat):

1) I love how you offer different elements without pushing too many boundaries. For example, I'm not too into anal play, or humiliation. Taking a marker to myself isn't my interest at all. I'm a sucker (and a bit of a wimp - heh) for cbt though, and so to have the option there was nice, but well written.

2) The fakeout countdown in the first section was great. Knowing your teases are long, I would have guessed it, but knowing that you had technical difficulties, I thought that just maybe you had decided to end it early. My whole body was vibrating. I don't know what fate met those "ruined it" and "came" options, but I was very close to finding out.

3) Gisele was a bit more vicious this time around! Great delight to me, though I thought I was going to die stroking and slapping at the same time. Going to be aching for a while, I know. Taking a bit of your frustrations on the webtease crashing out?

4) That ending? With every click I grew more and more sad at my fate, knowing how many combinations there could be.


re: Sounds - Do you mean metronome sounds? I don't think it's necessary unless you want it very specific. The timed stroking you have is enough to not need the metronome sounds in my opinion

Do you mean sound effects to go with the tease? It would depend on the sounds you have in mind, and the amount of work, I think. If it's a huge amount of work, I wouldn't bother. I put on some background sounds myself (usually just some softcore porn or something to keep the arousal even more on edge). But if the fix troyan offered is one that works well, I'd add it. Your teases are quite long (which is WONDERFUL - they're an event), and so the silence can become a bit maddening after a while. A little audio would be nice and would definitely highten the mood - commands, or sexual sounds, combined with silence on different pages could add to what's already a pretty intense teasing session you put together.

So to answer it as you asked it: Sounds - Don't really care, but would like them.

Another great tease. I never got to do part 3 when it was first released, and thus ecstatic to see it fixed and posted again. It certainly lived up to the hype.

As others have noted, I do find that the metronome adds to the overall experience of the tease. I understand the difficulty of adding the sounds and the problems it creates to make small changes down the road, but ultimately feel it creates another level of "control." It certainly wouldn't need to be incorporated during the whole tease (especially how time consuming it would be for you); if a few sections had it, it would be more than satisfactory and produce a little variety. In fact, there was really only one or two parts towards the end where I thought the metronome would have been appropriate. The previous sections of the tease had excellent instructions and timing, etc.--like so many of your teases do.

Someone got lucky enough to cum at the end yet?

I wasn't one of the lucky ones. Although oddly enough, the "code" that is required to access the different sections of the tease ... is the number I happened to randomly enter at the end of the tease. Would've thought I'd get something for that :)

A few other things I found worth mentioning ...

Like others have mentioned, the fake countdown was a surprise. I knew there were problems with nyx before, so figured a short tease could be possible. Glad that wasn't the case and it turned out to be another long, well-written tease.

I did look through a few other alternative sections the next day, and I must say the chastity portion was really well done. It was something I was looking forward to in this tease, but didn't get to experience because I followed instructions. But I really liked the "reduction" aspect of completing a task to reduce the chastity sentence. I also liked how the tease continued and even offered a section to try and cum while locked. This was another creative idea. These tasks are something I hope you will consider doing again in the future (that is--hopefully--if we are luckily enough for you to make more teases).

However, I believe I found a bug in that chastity section. If you proceed with the option of cumming in your chastity belt, I believe a few pages after that the tease suddenly ends and brings you to the first page of the tease. There likely was not much left after that page anyway, but an abrupt end and return to the beginning appeared to be a bug?

Another 5 star rating from me and I can't thank you enough for putting all the time and effort in to making these amazing teases. Your hard work doesn't go unappreciated.

But I digress: speaking of dealing with sound in Nyx. I thought I might mention Philo's offline editor:

Originally created to assist with creating Teaseme offline teases, it supports sound files and will also generate Nyx code. I don't have much practical experience yet, but as I understand it you could make all of your edits and changes offline. Then your would just copy and paste the entire finished tease code into the Nyx editor online, avoiding some of the buggy nature of editing a large tease in a browser window.

I've been using Philo's editor and have found it a very helpful way to create my first tease. (Hoping to publish something eventually... )

Hi first I love your teases they are amongst my favorite ones on Milovana.
TeaseMe allows you to view teases that are defined in XML format, it can also download a nyx tease and convert it to XML, so you can view it offline. It started off as just an offline viewer but has been further developed so it is possible to do more sophisticated things than nyx can.
The editor I wrote stores the tease in the XML format teaseme uses, but will convert it to nyx code.

I would suggest you try downloading one of your own teases and looking at the XML file it generates.
I use a mixture of Notepad++ and my editor to write my teases. Test them in tease me and then upload them to Milovana as nyx teases.
