I'm starting down the road to building my own CH now that I'm back Stateside and have an inordinate amount of free time, but one of the major areas I'm having trouble with is sifting through the immense pile of porn being produced today to find good sources.
I have a good idea on the style of video I'd like to make, but porn scenes run anywhere from 5 minutes to over an hour long. So my question is really, what is your process for well...processing all that porn and finding the clips and scenes you want? Especially when you're searching for HD content that takes a long time to download and you may not even want to use it in the end anyways?
Is it all just what you find on your normal fapping sessions or do you comb certain websites for tips and ratings on scenes to use? I've noticed that material I normally enjoy may not always lend itself well to the editing process, because it may already be edited a certain way or I just can't comb the whole video to find that "ideal shot" in a reasonable amount of time. I don't mean to ask where you find your material, but rather, what is your method for finding and choosing it?

That's a tough one to answer! I'm sure we all do it a different way.
Myself, I have a vast collection that has been broken down into categories or themes that I plan to use at some point. I try to only download videos with matching resolutions and usually determine whether I'm going to like it or not based on the screenshots associated with the torrent (common practice at empornium).
If I was at home, I'd take a screenshot of my external harddrives folder list, I'm pretty sure it's 3 columns in list view.
As for the videos themselves, I break them down even further in the editing software. I watch or scrub through the whole video, cutting it and labeling with a title (Adobe Premiere Pro) every time there's a camera switch or position change or notable part that I want to use (I have some OCD tendencies). This makes it a heck of a lot easier to get back to that specific part later on.
