On any forum post, there's an exclamation point hot spot up by the Quote hot spot. Click the exclamation point. You see a spam report form. Select the subject line that fits from the drop-down list and send it. You don't need to add any text.
I reported the post you referred to, so I think you'll see a message that the post has been reported.

Well I suppose so, but I just happened to be online moments after the spammer posted so I thought I'd at least remove them from the list on the home page.

Please do not spam as a response to spam. It just makes my job harder having to remove your spam posts as well.
MichelleFSFS is right, the best thing you can do is click the report button and a team member will remove the offending posts as soon as we can get around to it. The fact that it's on the front page doesn't have much relevance.
