Re: PCMistress 3 redux (for developers)
Mmmm ... buildr looks cool. Writing a buildfile now :) It would be nice to navigate to resources relative to the script file, for example. The idea now is that Resources is the one-stop shop for accessing resources, via the method Resources.locate(context, name, type), which returns a URL. This then u...

Re: PCMistress 3 redux (for developers)
I altered the build.xml file so the os property was macosx, and to add a path to JavaCC in the javacc element. The intention is that you do ant -Dos=macosx -Djavacc=/usr/bin/javacc dist rather than hack the build.xml. The other convention (not sure if I've implemented it) is to create a file in you...

Re: PCMistress 3 redux (for developers)
Sorry to take so long - I missed this report. I've committed a fix to build.xml - it's just that as new versions of eclipse come out they archive the old ones, and the URL becomes invalid. I haven't had a chance to test lapSqueeze, so no guarantees :-/ I've completely rewritten the code that locates...

I've added everyone who applied to join the "PCMistress Staff" group. Anyone who wants to participate in technical discussions about its development, just apply and you will (eventually) be added.

Re: PCMistress 3 redux (for developers)
Just a quick note - as mentioned elsewhere I don't have much spare time at the moment. MistressAlexa, I was thinking probably EPL, or possibly just Public Domain (like Antlr). As to choice of language ... it's a personal preference thing. I'm very much in favour of strongly typed languages, and I fi...

PCMistress 3 redux (for developers)
Hi all, For the last year or so, milovana has been hosting the source code for PCMistress 3, my re-implementation of the very popular PCMistress program. As plans for a new (re-)release of pcm3 fell foul of my real life commitments, it has been somewhat in limbo. So for anyone wanting to take a look...

Re: Offline tease program
Speaking of pcm3, I had a burst of enthusiasm in the first half of last year and did a stack of work on it, getting nearly to the stage of a 0.6 release. Unfortunately my spare time disappeared and I never got as far as releasing it. What I did have time to do was: . 'imp' language implementation re...

Re: PC Mistress
Pcm3 still shows some signs of life - apparently some files that the text-to-speech library required were missing from later JDK versions, but the missing files are now available on the yahoo group. The source code for pcm3 is still available for anyone who wants to contribute, both in development o...

Re: Since people are redoing PCM scripts...
The yahoo group is the only place I know of that has related stuff - it's very much a work in progress, as indicated by the version number. There was a tutorial included on the web site, as well as a detailed language description. Unfortunately my unmonitored internet time is very limited these days...

Re: Since people are redoing PCM scripts...
You're a legend! I'll try to find some time to get the source back online.

Re: Since people are redoing PCM scripts...
Shame about the web site ... the guy who was hosting it just disappeared one day. I should look for somewhere else to host PCM3, although I just don't have time to work on it at the moment. If someone's enthusiastic the source is available - just drop me a line. cheers solipsist PS the guy who wrote...
