Re: Restim: e-stim audio generation software
I've been having so much fun with restim and a whole of array of applications, I've broken my DIY stereo stim box transformer. Can some tell me - can I replace the LT700 audio transformer (1200:3.2) with this one from Amazon (1300:8.0) : https://www.amazon.co.uk/Isolation-Transformer-10pcs-1300-Tran...

Re: Restim: e-stim audio generation software
Thanks for your swift reply. There is no need to use MFP to connect VAM and Restim… Yoooi’s plugin connects to Restim directly… via UDP and I guess restim is converts the tcode data to the stim signal. I have a couple of Q’s.. when you say beta axis… left/right do you mean… actual left /right in a p...

Re: Restim: e-stim audio generation software
Hi Diglet, Thank you for continuing to improve and update Re-stim it really is a brilliant piece of software and I use it all the time for stimming. I thought an update to the ui was a bit of missed opportunity when I first saw the screenshot… I still struggle a little in my head to convert a flat c...

Re: VR: Is it worth the buck?
I have a Quest 2 that I bought on eBay for £150. Absoloutely worth the money. I began using it for VR porn together with estim.. then Diglet 48's Restim was developed and I now use that to generate the estim in realtime to the fusncripts sync'd with the video, (no stroker needed). The VR and real-ti...

Re: New estim tracks for CH videos
Hey I noticed a gap too… but I thought it was just me… mine was in the centre and to the left.. but I use a reverse electrode setup to you… with right on shaft and left lower - either at base or around balls… I was going to ask Diglet why there was no left adjustment… just neutral, centre and right…...

Re: New estim tracks for CH videos
Oh I agree… the conversion is excellent… I am Looking forward to trying out some multi-axis scripts too though…
I tested restim via various output options and it’s chucking out some errors…
I thought I’d share with you.

Re: New estim tracks for CH videos
So I’ve been testing the new restim version… and had some Thoughts I wanted to put down. Bear with me. I believe the motivation behind Restim was to use a an eager, willing and active user base of scripters that are generating scripts… And turn those scripts into files for estim use for us to enjoy ...

Re: New estim tracks for CH videos
BTW it always worked when connected to the serial port... but the green dot in restim acts kind of crazy...it is following the action in the scene, but looks almost 'too responsive'... its not a smooth looking motion... like it is over UDP. Thank god you implemented a graphic visualiser... I'm sligh...

Re: New estim tracks for CH videos
Thanks for debugging my code :-). Thanks for making open source cross-platform software :) I'll play around with it some more when I have time, but currently I don't know if it would be more work to learn enough flutter and Rust so I can hack Intiface Central / buttplug-rs to use a named tty, or to...

Re: New estim tracks for CH videos
Hi diglet, restim is a great tool, thank you very much for your effort! Out of curiosity: Why do we have to convert 1d -> 2d data beforehand? Could restim do it on the fly (and thus make it more noob-friendly)? Or is it a latency issue? (but strokers would have a similiar challenge, right?) Cheers,...

Re: New estim tracks for CH videos
I can confirm changing the shape of the waveform changes it’s ‘feeling’ greatly… I’ve tried square, sawtooth, sine waveforms before… I always return to sine wave as it’s the smoothest… but it depends on what you want… a sawtooth waveform at a low carrier frequency like 200 hz feels buzzy like a vibr...

Re: New estim tracks for CH videos
Hey DarthJJ/Digelt, Thanks for the updated info... what does it mean (in Layman's terms)? Diglet you're going too build your own 4-phase box? Have you thought about the 5.1 surround sound box I mentioned... I'm guessing you just need to add the transformers to it, as you would with any other DIY aud...

Re: New estim tracks for CH videos
Ah... yes I figured it out.. there's an audio clash... when you switch your audio output in windows... to adjust volume for example, it gets all screwy.... I have to switch audio output in windows to adjust volume for a designated output... if for example i want to turn the voulme up in restim... or...
