Thank you. I played around with it a bit and personally feel more lost.

Really, really want to create this tease. I've been planning it out in my head for months.

Hopefully with some help I will be able to do it.

Is it possible to usa a java-script to stream a video?
It could be really cool to stream and maybe even begin to play the stream in a certain time and end the stream-clip.
This could be used both for the GuideMe-(Teaseme), and the non sex-related GuideMe.

Wouldn't it be best to use a step by step guide with small clips, and then after you have finished it you can continue? (examples, tie ties, repair a pc, change memory, aso)

It would also be cool to incorporate some sex-clips without getting the file to large. Like clips from CH:s (http://cockhero.heliohost.org/, and maybe some porn-sites)

Maybe we need to integrate a webrowser that can read these movies for this to work?

Anything vlc can do, could be done from guide me, so enhancing the video node to handle streaming clips is possible.
Not sure that is the best thing to do though as the tease would stop working if the clip is removed.
there are a lot of milo teases with broken links that went down this route.

I will have a look at how easy it is and add it if it is simple otherwise I will add it to the future improvements

as of now, GuideMe works the same as TeaseMe, aka offline...

if a part of the file had a simple list of the filenames, we could even use it to make an alternate solution for the CH randomiser on the "on video" part of this forum, or a multi-media CTI adaptation like the 'skirmish' test tease, a few slides could be switches for the same time on a video at a precise place (of course, the time lapse was not fixed)

you could even make a button at the start of your tease so the person can insert all her/his details since they can be put on the status file, saving gender, fetishes, toys or limits so you can program your preferences and only enjoy the tease the next times without having to put everything back. sure it may need a long time to prepare a tease needing all this but it would have some interest to more people and you can 'patch' it with new content as you add more

I'm actually really interested in working on something like that but it'll need to be a team effort as of right now I have zero knowledge of java or xml (though some of it is not that hard to understand if you have at least some basis in others languages), if anyone is interested in a partnership, don't hesitate :)

go for it :) You have my full permission to use the small proof of concept as you like and build a full working game for GuideMe. Just share it with the community here. I'll try to help you, if i can. I also added the card template (photoshop psd) to the download list, if somebody wants to create more cards for the tease.
Try GuideMe to play Milovana Teases offline or create your own offline teases with highres images and videos...
Look at Hearts Club or Pilgrim Quest or My Succubus if you wanna see whats possible with GuideMe...

I try something with the skirmish-set, too.

I want to Show a random .jpg of a random Folder.

The normal way:
<Image id="random/*.jpg" />

But i want:
<Image id="randomvariable/*.jpg" />

i know how i create the variable and make it random. but how can i open it?
the "<Image id="random/*.jpg" />" isn't in the <javascript>-part?!

The next step would be:
Show first nr 1 of the set, then maybe nr. 5, then 10, then 12,...15...17...18...so the number rises and the Girl strips ;-)

I don't know really but written like this I thing the "random" is actually the folder name where you put the pics for the normal slides, it could have read pics/*.jpg too or even without the .jpg ( <Image id="pics/*" />so you can also put animated gif or any other picture types

I actually modified the skirmish source file on my HD for this (also modified the == for a >= when it compares xp total from xp needed for level, if you jump the 10 xp for lvl 2, you have 9 and gain +2 or +3, you'll never ever level up with the way it's done now ^^)

make a copy of the file if you play with it, just in case ;)

yes, i know. i also edited it a Little here and there. justs tests ;-)

And i know that "random" is the real Name of the Folder.

Bit I want for every fight a new Folder. And for that fight only Pictures from that Folder should be used!

ahhh I see what you mean then, having a text variable that contain the name of the folder for that particular fight, something like "&acute;" for the special characters in XML or was it HTML, don't remember now ehe

should be doable, maybe try your google-fu on that one, it no one here can help you, or plainly say that it's not possible with what's used in GuideMe

I made something similar in the script for "Hearts Club". You can use overRide.image for that. Let's say you've put your pictures into three subfolders called "Michelle", "Jenny", "Naomi". You already created a random variable vGirlNumber and (depending on the random result) made a variable vCurrentGirl (for example vCurrentGirl = "Michelle" if vGirlNumber = 1). Safe vCurrentGirl with scriptVars.put("vCurrentGirl", vCurrentGirl) and use the following javascript code on every page which should have a random picture for this specific girl:

In "Hearts Club" see pages edge, hold, cum for an example.

ahh my bad, must be because I'm playing around with 2 differents CTI deck viewer so I may have mixed the 2 systems ^^
on the other hand, we so need animated gifs working, it would be a nice step in between pictures and videos hehe

Hey there.
Some ideas for those working on skirmish or also those who use Hearts club as a base.
Reguarding skirmish: Building up a character is really a nice idea! One should combine it with the Hearts Club idea of assigning a chastity time between two teases. Maybe based on the level of your character. Higher level, longer chastity periods. What "long" means should be set by a question at the very beginning like "what is your average orgasm/week when not under control?" "What is your maximum without" or things like that. It should also dpend on the level of Experience of the character.
Nonetheless it should be possible to play every time you want without resetting the game. So one could throw the dice in order to get access to a tease although it is chastity time. Chances base on your skills. Which brings me to the next point. When Level up -- why not having the ability to assign some points to certain "skills"? Say for me it is more important to have a higher chance to cum, so I can use level up to have higher probability in the future. On the other hand I could use the points to have more easier teases (but lower probability to cum). Stuff like that. I think the striking idea of GuideMe is that one can really build up a personalized tease-story/ character.
In general I would adapt "willpower" "strength" etc to "agility" teasing... so stating clear what it means (may I just didnt get it?!)

One could be asked for playing games (like we see in many teases) and if you win: higher chance to cum, if you lose longer denial or extra stroking or what ever. But: In contrast to other teases with GuideMe and a character you had skilled over time the way you wanted to, it depends on the mistress that challenges you and on your skills whether you want to risk the "fight".


And a question: Is there a debug mode like we had in teaseme?

yes to debug mode, it add a button named "delay" that allow to cancel any timer

as for building skills and leveling our characters, it need precise balance. the CTI version of skirmish allowed a way too fast progression of the stats, while this one you'll most likely lose or save & exit before reaching lvl 3

Turning on debug mode will display a delay button if there is a delay, it will also display the current page name rather than autor / tease title.
there is also extensive logging turned on.
there are two log files guideme.log which has logging on what the internals of guideme is doing.
it will show what pages were visited and in which order.what random pictures it found and which one was chosen.
what flags were set etc.
javascript.log shows what went into the script and what came out, you can also add log statements in your java script to display the values in a variable or within conditional code to show whether code within an if statement was triggered
it will also log errors generated when the java script is wrong
