Original Sin
You awake on a cold metal floor, and are surprised to find that you cannot move. Bind your ankles together, and then bind your non-dominant hand to your ankle.
Fear begins to grip you as you realise that you are naked and bound in this unfamiliar place. You scan your surroundings despite the darkness and realise that you are in some sort of prison cell, though you have no memory of how you got here.
In fact, you have no memory of anything at all. You seem to understand that this is a jail cell, and you seem to be able to remember how to speak and understand English, but you can't remember how you got here - or even your name.
Fluorescent lights flicker on agitatedly and you blink a few times as your eyes adjust to the illumination. A woman's voice speaks across the darkness.
