Welcome to my office. I am Dr. Marley, and I first want to let you know that this room is a place where you can feel comfortable and secure. We have complete Doctor-Patient confidentiality, and you can just relax and consider this an open forum to discuss whatever you like.
You probably didn't see the sign on the door, don't worry, a lot of folks miss it their first time - but I always like to insist that my patients bring a hot mug of water into the session with them. I find, for some reason, it's just the best at calming patients down and allowing them to open up. Maybe it's something to do with the steam, I am not sure, but if you could just go grab a glass and then we could get underway.
