So it's quite cool to see so many new video tease creators here at Milovana as well as seeing savants like andyp and vindicare still delivering the Cock Hero goods.

But as I've been checking out the past month of video teases releases, it occurred to me that - in general - most of the video teases follow the same stroking format. That is, stroking to the beat of the music which is stimulating fun, especially if the songs are good tunes.

But it got me thinking - especially after trying out some Flashteases lately - about incorporating the technique of "edging" into a video tease. It's been discussed before on this forum but I don't recall if there was a good idea of how to do it in a video tease.

So whilst working on a recent naughty compilation featuring big natural boobies and after some thought on how to do it, I gave it the old college try.


The Incredible Titties Test: Edge Edition

In case you haven't figured it out by the title, if you don't like big natural boobies, you won't like this video.

Furthermore, if you don't like seeing hardcore sex action (i.e. PORN), you won't like this video, either.

This is an experiment on how to incorporate edging into a video tease using footage from a recently made video compilation and the way I approached it is similar to the kids playground game of "Red Light, Green Light". While viewing the sexy action on screen, indicators will alert you to do one of the following:

1) NO STROKING - that means, no stroking, rubbing, humping... basically, no stimulation whatsoever

2) Stroke and Edge, then ride/hold the Edge - Stroke as you like but get to the Edge then hold/ride the Edge for the duration.*

*As a sidenote, if you don't get to the Edge during the allowed stroking period, keep stroking till you get to the Edge.

I went with this Edging approach because there's obviously, no way to tell for me (the video tease creator) when exactly each viewer reaches their Edging point; some people get to the Edge quicker than others. With the approach above, I'm thinking Edging and Holding the Edge is probably the only way to make it work in a video tease.

Anyways, give this video a try and let me know if you think this Edging system works. If I get the itch to do a proper video tease in the future, I may incorporate this Edging system into the normal "music beat-based stroking". Hell, if it really works well maybe one of the current video tease creators here can incorporate it into their future teases as well.

I'll have to try out the video tomorrow, as right now my cock is quite tired from just finishing CH Thick and Juicy. But I do have this to say: Edging is very difficult in a video tease.

First off, commanding an edge in a video is inherently different from one in a webtease, and might suffer from the same weaknesses as edging in a flash tease. In a webtease, the viewer has as much time as needed to reach the edge, and in a flash tease, the maker has a choice of whether or not to ascribe a time limit or not to the viewer, (punishing/rewarding accordingly).

In a video tease, only one of the possibilities is possible. You, as the creator, only have the option of a timed/commanded edge, which can be difficult for a variety of viewers. This can be due to the fact the viewer may not be excited by the material presented, may not enjoy the stroking pattern (can be solved with a freestyle), or simply may not be close enough to the edge to begin with and unable to cover that gap in time. (may require a pause to accomodate)

Now, with a timed edge, you can introduce possibilities of reward/punishment, but again, the video format limits your options, unless you command a pause in the video to comply with directions. (Which I would say to be very un-Cock Hero. You may want to branch a different franchise for this.) It certainly lends a level of challenge to the viewer, but could put a lot of people off, particularly those who know they can't edge on command.

I would say for a video format, present an ultimatum for a reward round. At the outset of the video, tell the viewer for every edge, they get a point. If you have a certain number of points at the end, you may progress to a reward/punishment round and link to the time. This way, the viewer is free to edge when they are ready and turned on, and is also actively trying to edge for the duration of the round/video. Using a point system, you could implement all kinds of other treats as well, but I'll let you get creative with that.

Yeah, that was pretty much my thought as well - if you're going to do an Edging system in a video tease, it all comes down to giving enough time to get to the Edge and showing content that is stimulating enough to Edge. The way I see it, I don't think doing a complete video tease that's entirely based on Edge stroking is going to work well - rather, if you start off the video as a normal CH type video tease (i.e. music beat based stroking) then work Edging into the later rounds, i think that could work really, really well. I don't think pausing is an option and for that matter, I wouldn't want that in a video tease.

As I mentioned above, I don't like the idea of pausing a video at all, so not going to do that. And if I plan to do a video tease in the future, it'll be a new Stroker Ace type tease - it'll have similar music beat-based stroking systems to Cock Hero but have other ideas as well.

Hrmm... I'm a bit confused here twl1 about the underlined part here. What do you mean by "link to the time"? Also, I don't know if I really want the viewer to "keep track of edges" while watching a full video tease. As shown in this thread poll here the vast majority of CH video tease fans don't pay attention to the original CH video rules that involved "perks" and such... while keeping track of Edges is easier than the original CH perk system, the concept of keeping tally of how many times you Edge is kinda the same and I want to avoid that.

Just something along the lines of "If you managed to edge X amount of times by the end of the video/round, skip ahead to the 11 minute mark for your reward round. If you didn't, skip to the 12 minute mark." I like the possibility of "failing" a tease, I feel like it adds more incentive to get or stay on edge, which intensifies the release.

I like the way you're talking about implementing it though, as a finale buildup to the CH style teases. Doing it this way, you don't have to make it a high point count. 3-5 edges is pretty challenging, and also not difficult to keep track of mentally. There's a lot of room to be creative with this, and the more I think about it the more ideas I get, so I'm sure you'll come up with something stellar.

quick note - in comparison to the video sound, the sound effects you added are way too loud!!! I found them so distracting that I couldn't watch for more than a few minutes.

Yeah, that's an interesting idea but that could be a dangerous idea.. that is, if you're already Riding/Holding an Edge, to impose a stroke-beat rhythm on TOP OF THAT? unless it's fairly slow, that could be way too difficult. But maybe worth exploring as another experiment.

That was really awesome! I've never really been into edging. When I jerk off, I mostly just slow down or stop when I get close, but I never make it a point to get as close to orgasm as possible. This was really hard, because my body was more or less rejecting the concept. I would try to hold the edges as long as possible, though. I'd have to say that the breaks were perfect, because later on into the video, about 20 minutes in, I would not have been able to last if I continued stimulation after edging so many times.

Either way, the results for me were great. I don't think I've blown a load like that since I was in my teens.

The clips and editing were really good. I'd like to have seen some solo stuff. Regardless, I'm sold on the concept, and I thoroughly enjoyed & appreciated the effort.

I have played through a lot of the edging teases on this site, and some are better than others, but I must say, I think you just put them out of business! Excellent work!
