Hi everyone. I've made about three new changes to the way the list is organized. I hope that they will be welcome changes, but I welcome your feedback.
1. The
NEW indicator next to new releases will stay for one month...possibly a little longer. (The old interval was two weeks.) Using a one month interval will make it easier for me to tell at a glance whether a release is now older than a month, or still within the month window. It will also give people who frequent the list less frequently a chance to see what they may have missed.
2. In order to keep the list manageable, I won't list preview rounds or list upcoming releases. Only once the video is complete and considered released will I add it to the list. Likewise, single scenes/rounds will not be listed unless they are part of a larger work. Also, a release will only be added to the list if it incorporates either a visible beat/stroke meter, an obvious audio cue (on top of the natural beat of the music), text or verbal commands or cues, or some combination of these. In other words, if the author says "just follow the beat of the music" or "just freestyle stroke throughout the video" without providing some visual, text, or audio overlay, then it won't be considered a good fit for this list. (By the way, this rule has only affected the listing of one author so far.)
3. The biggest change is the order the videos are listed. I like to list the videos of each author together, so the community continues to have a sense that there are multiple Cock Hero authors, and what their body of work is. However, many have expressed a desire for a chronological list. As a compromise, I will continue to list all of the videos of each individual author chronologically (from oldest to newest) under that author's name, but also, whenever an author releases a new video, his name along with his entire list of videos will be moved the top of the list.
Currently this is the order the authors will be listed (sorted by the date of their most recent release):
Vindicare (Oct 07, 2012)
ChC (Oct 02, 2012)
Romero (Sep 24, 2012)
MrBlonde (Sep 17, 2012)
LCatt (Aug 28, 2012)
Jackal403 (Jul 19, 2012)
hiphopanonymous (Jul 08, 2012)
bigddk (Jul 04, 2012)
HD-Music (Jun 29, 2012)
Ganky (Jun 20, 2012)
supermokkori (May 23, 2012)
JoeyD (May 14, 2012)
Andyp (Apr 21, 2012)
boobe (Apr 17, 2012)
brewster (Apr 14, 2012)
blacklobster (Mar 01, 2012)
plandr (Feb 08, 2012)
vitesse (Feb 05, 2012)
tribes (Feb 03, 2012)
Bornforthis (Dec 22, 2011)
utopia (Nov 18, 2011)
316sean (Sep 25, 2011)
lalaland (unknown, but certainly the oldest)
As a theoretical example, if Andyp were to release a new video next week, I would move his name and the list of his releases to the top of the list, add his new release to the end of the videos listed under his name, and put the
NEW tag next to his new release.
Check out the changes in
the first post of this thread and let me know what you think.
