Ive never seen anything about crucifixion on this site and was wondering if anybody was into that sort of thing? I recently started reading about it and am very interested. It is one of the most intense forms of bondage in my opinion, but not a topic of discussion maybe because of religious reasons? I was just wondering if anybody else had ever tried it or was interested!
Heres the page that got me interested, its quite detailed...

Hello.

I have never experienced it, and it is more neutral to me - interesting, but not enough to seek the achievement ;).
It is indeed a form of bondage, though many people may perceive it as something offensive and abusive towards their religion. Personally, I find it more Paganic, than Christian, but of course when you look at this from different perspective it may still be a bit offensive for someone.
I've heard about one event of a Norwegian band - during the concert there were crusified (in similiar way, not by nails of course) women on the stage. This led to some complaints about rights and attacking religion. I don't remember the results, unfortunately.

Pontius Pilate gave the practice a bad name.
As used by the Romans it took a long time to die, horribly.

Historically speaking,Christianity came along many centuries after crucifixion became an accepted form of punishment for a variety of crimes. Jesus was not that unusual in the regard of having suffered through crucifixion; I have never understood why Christians make such a big deal about that.

It is only their belief in resurrection that truly Christians apart from all other religions. In all other instances if "Christian exceptionality" I can cite similar beliefs in several other major world religions. Incidentally, that includes all the parables, "miracles", and supposed statements of ability to grant saving grace. Actually, I seriously doubt Jesus ever made such egotistic pronouncements; he was far too humbler a man to have ever said such things. They were all ascribed to him by his so-called Apostles, who really each wrote his missive in a vain attempt to ride into glory on the coattails of the person he claimed to emulate. Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, and especially Paul, as evidenced in his Pauline letters, are all questionable witnesses.

DLizzie - in fact, to be exact, Paul had never met Jesus personally. He became an Apostle after Jesus' death. Maybe this is a reason, why he mentioned in his letter to Corynthians: "didn't nature tought us, that it is a shame for a man to wear long hair?" - he simply didn't knew how Jesus looked like.

Though it is a bit of offtopic.

Crucifixion?

Goooood.

Through the door, line on the left, one cross each.

In all seriousness though, it's a very interesting form of bondage, haven't tried it myself, and I don't think people need get offended by it either. I'm assuming we aren't talking about nailing people to two by fours and leaving them out for the crows, are we?

It was, and still remains (sadly) one of most brutal and barbaric forms of execution around.

It's far from worst, even among gravity torture/execution methods.

I know several lifestyle femdoms who have crucified male submissives FOR REAL. Unfortunately, since there is blood involved you will never see a commercial video featuring it. Had to be there. Scary, intense, needs medical training!!!

If anyone here had nailed some one to the cross,
would have bet it was Alice.

Not to get too discussing religion,
merely the legends.
Fact is that one dies of cruxificiton after 3-5 days.
Eventually you suffocate, or die of thirst.
The Roman Centurian, Longius, is alleged to have given Jesus water from a cup.
This became the so called Holy Grail. (cf Monty Python)
Then out of pity Longius as the story goes, pierced Jesus side to kindly hasten his death.
From this comes the legend of Parsifal as so well told by Von Eschenbach and later Wagner.
