Thanks Pseudonym, I found this extremely helpful when I made my first video.Pseudonym wrote: ↑Wed Feb 02, 2022 4:53 pmI made this video today. It shows how I make beats for one round from start to finish.
You find out what the BPM of the song is and then create the beat patterns. It's pretty simple.

Once you are finished, you render the beat track and use something like AE to create the visual beat meter.
Or you can use ftreesmilo's beat analyzer to get array of time stamps. https://cyoa.club/tools/analyze.html
Those can, for instance, be feed to cyoa which will draw the beat meter for you on the fly. :)
I believe that's the spirit, we should create something that matches our tastes, not what is being done. There will always be some people that will enjoy something different! And if it brings ideas to other creators, it will just raise the bar!
I didn't know if we would get enough motivation to create a full CH, but starting and seeing rounds coming alive, and especially playtesting them satisfied us so much, that the motivation was there.Alex69 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 02, 2024 11:33 pm Disclaimer: I'm not sure if or when this project will come to life, but I really wanted to give back something to a community that, for 9 years, has been providing me LOTS of good times and pleasure. Doing that for my tenth anniversary on Milovana (early-mid 2025) would be cool, but honestly, I don't know when or how will I manage to do it, if I ever do it.
Couldn't agree more. Music is so important! And the videos should match the style/pace and what the songs evoke to you.Alex69 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 02, 2024 11:33 pm What do I have: The "theme" or topic, and the music track. I know what most of you will tell me, "you have to search for the video content first, then find suitable music later". Well, not this time. The thing is, the main drive for my CH video will be music, of a very specific genres. That will be the main differentiator of my work, as well as the way the music is used alongside the video.
To be a bit more specific, my plan is to start with more pop-oriented music, then progress towards something more electronic and hardcore. And, at the same time, encompass the first pop songs with sweet, tender and lovely content (softcore? but a more niche softcore) , progressing towards more hardcore content. Yep, I'm a softcore lover and if you read me in the past, I absolutely love it, but I'd like to put harder (vanilla, a bit rougher) content towards the end.
I think during cum round, you should put what excites you the most. Seeing something completly different during a cum round tends to get us out of the flow.
Haha super subjective answer: cumshots aren't exciting for us. We don't like CH where you have 95% softcore stuff, and then in the end it's bukkake time. We don't like that
Haha, tough one.Alex69 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 02, 2024 11:33 pm I will focus on building the perfect music barebones, and then I'll start choosing and editing the video. I still don't know where or how will I source high quality content, but I guess I can start by downloading from commercial porn streaming pages, and then maybe I can find better sources. I'd love to know where Tia Blaze or HotBen, to mention some of the "youngest" members, source their extremely crisp and High Res softcore content. But I guess I'll figure It out, eventually, and I'm not there yet.
Changing the mood just for the cum round feels a bit weird for us (as always, super subjective...).Alex69 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 02, 2024 11:33 pm Any suggestions will be welcome, especially regarding to: Would you restrict the Vanilla/harder porn to the CUM round for a more intense sense of release? Or would you already include vanilla porn on the previos songs/rounds right before the CUM round? Why do I keep using all capitals to type CUM? Now that's a mystery.
Honestly, my first idea was to restrict the harder content just for the last 3 minutes, but I'm not sure I'll be able to fill half the video (the second half) with just lesbian, as it can become a bit... boring? It's not like two girls exchanging love can be boring EVER, but you know what I mean. I think I'll take a more equilibrated approach.
I think those questions are super interesting, and if I had to do my CH alone, I would definitely have asked those questions here...
Embarking on the adventure of creation when it's a first can be overwhelming indeed.

Like HotBen says, music can indeed convey emotions and inspire you, your musical mix should therefore greatly help you see more clearly in the structure of your project. What type of content, where, when, how, etc...
Your music is probably measured in minutes, whereas your footage is measured in hours. An important step is to thin out the footage to the parts that makes it.
It depends on the content. For a music video, you certainly don't have the video content first. I think having some specific music in mind for a CH video is common. Then you can have a certain theme in mind when you are looking for content.Alex69 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 02, 2024 11:33 pm What do I have: The "theme" or topic, and the music track. Having a plan before you start gathering material and start editing is going to be very helpful. Create an outline of what you want in your video, put it as text titles on a video track, and you can start building up around the outline. What are the themes and categories? Who are the models you are going to use? What do you not want in there?
Taste is subjective. Do whatever you think is right and works for you. If you think a long string of lesbian scenes are a bit boring, then do something to spice it up. It's very hard to cater to someone else's taste and nail it. But you can probably nail your own pretty well.Alex69 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 02, 2024 11:33 pm Any suggestions will be welcome, especially regarding to: Would you restrict the Vanilla/harder porn to the CUM round for a more intense sense of release?
