What is Cock Hero exactly ?

Hi, some people told me about "Cock Hero" but what is that exactly ?
Is it a challenge like the webteases I´ve seen or are there also normal compilations with music ?
Or can everybody make his own Cock Hero movie how u want without any guidlines ?

I´m just asking because I like the idea of making some Cock Hero movies ;)

The best way I can describe it is basically... a compilation usually consisting of a number of "rounds" of various lengths (often determined by the length of the song used) each consisting of a scene or and edited compilation of parts of multiple scenes, set to music.

- They most often utilize a "beat track" for the user to match their stroking to.
- Less often along with a "beat meter" to give a visual cue/warning. (It's more work but is usually appreciated.)
- Sometimes contain on-screen textual instructions from an imaginary "coach/narrator/author" and/or taunts from a female "opponent" of some kind who wants you to fail.
- May or may not contain a "Boss Battle" where you basically face a JOI video.
- May or may not contain a "Reward Round" at the end where you get to cum (Also possibly a JOI video)

The basic point is to last to the end, or until the reward round at the end, without cumming. You cum early, you lose.

There are many variations to the basic theme but I think that's the simplest way I can explain the generalities... I'd say check out a few yourself to get a real idea of what they look like in practice.

In the loosest sense of terms, Cock Hero is simply a challenge posted to the viewer to make it through a certain pornographic music video compilation following a certain set of stroking instructions without cumming. So far there have been a ton of innovations and methods used by the video creators to make this more challenging, more exciting, and more engaging to the viewers at home. Stroking to a rhythm or beat seems to be accepted as the only real 'de facto' stipulation for a video to be called "Cock Hero", whether or not that includes a beat meter. Themed rounds are also nearly universal, and Edging is gradually becoming prevalent in many of the releases nowadays (although most of them have eschewed the CH title).

You can make any video you want to and post it here, this is just the home of Cock Hero, not the designated "Cock Hero Only" zone. When you're finished, if it 'feels' like CH to you, feel free to call it that, but other video creators seem to feel a bit more freedom when working without that particular moniker. In the end, make a video you'd want to fap to. I'm sure there are plenty of us out there that can't wait to see what you come up with, myself included.

Is it a faux-pas to mention "Guitar Hero" when trying to describe "Cock Hero" ??

In the famous Guitar Hero video game, a video plays with music in the background while you have to strum a guitar to the rhythm that the game dictates via the strum-meter... whether it's a slow and steady, pace, or complex rapid succession, you have to keep on track.

Well, in COCK-Hero... (which are just videos, not an actual interactive video game) you have a set of porn clips, set to music, and a STROKE meter set to the music (usually visual, but sometimes just auditory). -- You have to follow along by stroking your cock to the pace the stroke meter dictates, while you watch the video and listen to the music. If I were to offer my suggestion, I'd start with the ones by lalaland (match 1 and 2), as they are the first and get you off (no pun intended) to a "beginners" start -- then AndyP's Matches 4-5 and then Vindicare's Match 6... as they carry on the ramp up in difficulty and evolve gradually. After that, you're free to roam about the list as you're well on your way.

I started creating compilations about 1 year ago and is a lot of fun for me to merge my favourite scenes but I am personally not very interested in these "challenges". That´s the reason because I wanted to know if creating it like a challenge it is a fix requirement to call my compilation "Cock Hero" ;)

Do you think classic "Best of Compilations", so just differentgreat scenes with (or without) music would also be appreciated here ?

Not that I'm aware of, but while I know of it, I've never actually played Guitar Hero.

I'm sure it'll depend on what kinda stuff you like viewing I suppose, why not post links to a couple of your compilation and see if there's much interest here. Personally, the 'competitive' element to the cock hero's stuff doesn't really interest me that much.
Although it can be fun sometimes, and I'm sure most fans would totally disagree I've usually just enjoyed them as some fantastic compilations, so I'd be definitely interested

I'm pretty sure any compilation you wish to make and post here will be welcome, as this is the "On Video" forum and the tagline of the forum is "Discussion about Cock Hero and other sexy videos." As far as making it into the thread that tracks the Cock Hero world, that list only includes videos that contain some element of directed stroking...such as a stroke meter, or an audio beat that you add so the viewer/stroker has some direction. I believe that was the original intent of the Cock Hero name (which, as someone has already pointed out, is a play on Guitar Hero, which is a rhythm game).

Yeah, this isn't the "Cock Hero" forum per se. It's for videos as a general topic, though the CH craze has taken over due to its novelty. (It's also why I found this forum... not gonna pretend I'm not a joiner. :) )

Personally I think the beat meter is what defines a "Cock Hero branded" video. A looser definition might be a compilation with directed stroking, or even just a compilation broken up into rounds set to specific songs and/or themes. They're all fun to play through and to see what other people choose creatively, but for me it's hard to think of a video as a "Cock Hero" without the visuals that turn it into the video game parody/homage. Yes, I recognize the irony that the very first CH videos didn't have a beat meter, and only used an audio track and overlayed text.

That said, you don't need a beat meter to make a good video. Do what you wanna do and people will enjoy it (assuming it's done well I suppose).

I love the stroke meter (when it is properly synced), but my favorite Cock Hero video that doesn't use one is Vindicare's Flux Dance Project. I don't really miss the stroke meter with that one because Vindicare does such a good job of directing the stroking with added audio beats and text direction. It also helps that the music and video editing is top notch.
