Welcome fellow Cock heroes. I am proud to finally be able to release Cock Hero R.Y.G.


This cock hero has been a very long time in the making. More about that can be found in the old thread here:

This cock hero was made by myself to coincide with my personal tastes. I own a Fleshlight, and it beats using my hand to jack off any day of the week. I prefer to use the FL in a hands free fashion, because of this, some Cock hero videos were just way too difficult for me to keep up with. This video features much more rhythmic beats that suit this play style more. This doesn't mean you can't still play along with your hand like normal though

RYG, stands for Red, Yellow, Green. My initial idea was to have 3 different coloured icons; Green for Down stroke, Yellow for Up Stroke and Red for Down+Up Stroke. This proved to be way out of my current capabilities, and the only way I figured to implement them, would require me to render each icon a frame at a time. NOPE!

So instead I opted for different coloured meters, FAR easier to accomplish. These meters are:
A Red one.
&
A Green/Yellow one.

Your stroke style will differ depending upon which meter is displayed at that time. Warnings will show up when a meter change approaches. During some of the rounds, there are breaks in the beats, during these sections you will be prompted to 'tease' yourself while waiting for the beats to resume. You MUST follow these teases. The instructional video will explain all the rules more thoroughly.

The video sits at a little over 49 minutes long. It has 5 rounds of differing length and a 30ish second break between each. Each round has progressively more explicit material;
Round 01 - Solo Models.
Round 02 - Solo & Lesbian.
Round 03 - Solo/Lesbian & Blowjobs.
Round 04 - Blowjobs & Hardcore.
Round 05 - Blowjobs/Hardcore & Cumshots.

At the end of the Instructional Video there are some credits. The credits contain the names of each Model in each round, along with the names of the songs used as well. I wont answer any "who is X model in Y round?" or "what is the song in round Y?" questions, as all the information is in that video.

This video has been a great learning experience for me in the line of video editing and I hope you all enjoy it and have as much fun playing it as I have had making it. Whether or not I make any more remains to be seen, I'll see how well this one is received and just say... I'll think about it

The good:
The editing about halfway through the video when it gets past the softcore stuff and into the hard stuff. WOW! Loved the intensity!

I came about halfway through the video, went and took a shower, came back and played the second half and came again during the final cumround. That's the first time I've ever done that for a CH.

The bad:
After watching the instructional I thought it was a great concept. Unfortunately it wasn't executed too well.

I understood that each beat in the green bar is meant for an in and out stroke, but it got confusing if I pulled my eyes off the screen, or lost my rhythm.

The beats went on for far too long without changing pace. The fleshlight I used is super unforgiving and I was on edge within 5 minutes.

Yay! a cockhero released on my birthday. I'll update this post with my impressions after playing it.

Regarding the size of the video: didn't you have anyone beta test it, or tell you that a 5 gig 50 minute video is a bit much? Tone down the bitrate when encoding and you'll get visually identical quality and shave off 3 or more gigs.

I opted against a beta because I was happy with the video, but thanks for the advice, ill look into changing the bitrate.

I was unsure about the first couple of rounds myself, I too thought they were a bit slow getting started. Rounds 4 and 5 were where I began to have the most fun looking for good points in the videos to have at changes in the songs. One of the most difficult parts of making the video was gathering the source material to use in each round. I've got a 1tb portable HDD filled with porn, and 99% of it was unsuitable. But I agree that the last 2 rounds were the ones I enjoy playing and making the most.

Yes, I'd shorten the rounds. Twice I had to stop because the early rounds were going on too long. You want the player to be challenged, not make them lose to tedious repetition. I wasn't that mentally turned on, it was just the physical repetition of my fleshlight that's unforgiving. Not sure how it'd play out if I were using my hand, but I would probably go numb.

I'd also remove the extra beat indicator on the green bar, so it's obvious that each stroke is mean for an "in" thrust. While the red bar is the usual in and out.

Overall I enjoyed it, and like the green/red bar concept, but focusing it to be "fleshlight" friendly made the beats stale and repetitious.

First off. Excellent video, loved the content and your editing which were both excellent. I also approve very much of the idea of more sensible beats that allow one to concentrate on the content.

Like others I also found some of the sections went on for too long and the beats were a little too uniform, your goal of being fleshlight friendly notwithstanding.

The Green/Red bar concept for me didn't work so well. It's basically a complicated way of doing 1 - 2 and 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 and it would have been much better, I think, just with normal beat meters but half and normal time beats.

There has also been at least one discussion in the past about whether one does full stroke per beat or in on one beat, out on the next. People tend to do full strokes but some prefer the half speed option and it's mostly about finding one's own rhythm and pace.

But overall I did enjoy it very much and it will form part of my permanent collection Thank you for making it and please feel encouraged to make more.

I just wanted to say, I enjoyed the video and thought it was well done.

I agree that the rounds could have been a bit shorter, but that wasn't too big of an issue to me. My "issue" was, for me, the beat meter was hard to see in the green / yellow bar.

One other thought I had, is there really any need for two different colors? I've generally played other CH videos where if I'm using a toy / fleshlight I go with a beat being either up or down, not both, like when your green meter is on screen. If the video was made with that in mind there might not be any need for a color change. Each beat is up and down without a toy, up or down with?

Anyway, just my 2 cents.

I thought this was amazing! I liked the G/Y bar and red bar. I really liked that I always knew exactly what to stroke. In most videos I err on the side of the red bar because "1-1" "1-2" don't mean anything to me.

I thought this was really well done. Worth the wait??? Yes, probably but don't take so much time next time.

Anyway, great work, really hope getting this one done wasn't so traumatic that you don't ever make another.
